The Administration Offices are located in the Covington Government Center at 1 South High Street in Covington.
Kyle A. Hinkelman, AICP | Village Administrator
Kyle joined the Village of Covington as Village Administrator in 2020, as the second Village Administrator. As Village Administrator, Kyle is responsible for general management of the Village staff, economic development, project management, human resources, planning, and budgeting for the Village. He also oversees management of the Village Services Departments, the Community Park, and other tasks assigned by the Mayor and Council.
Kyle came to Covington after working for 13 years at Miami Township, Montgomery County, Ohio where he was the Deputy Director of Community Development. Kyle was active in a number of large scale development projects including Austin Landing, and had the fortune to work on over $300 million in development projects over his time there. Kyle was also involved in the marketing, branding, and economic development efforts of the Township as well as being the manager of Information Technology.

Mary Canan | Utility Clerk
Mary is a life-long resident of Covington and a 1982 graduate of Covington High School.
She joined the Village of Covington as Utility Clerk in 2010 and has enjoyed the rewards the position offers.
“I love interacting with the public and the camaraderie that exists with my co-workers,” she said. “Covington is a great community to live in and being able to work with friends and neighbors is very rewarding.”
Mary and her husband Rick raised their family in Covington with all five of her children graduating from Covington High School.
Brenda Carroll | Fiscal Officer
Brenda Carroll joined the Village of Covington as a Fiscal Officer in 2015 and has developed strong relationships with her co-workers.
“What makes this job rewarding are the challenges and different aspects of the job, interacting with the public and working with a great group of people”
In her spare time, Brenda enjoys staying active, spending time with her family, and enjoying life.
